Assignment One: Line & Shape
Take as many photos as necessary to bring in 6 dynamic photographs of line and shape. You may bring in the photos on a flash drive, your memory card, or upload to your google drive or email. If taking photos on your phone, make sure to email (in the largest file size possible) or share your photos to your drive BEFORE you come to class. If possible, use your guidelines to consider the rule of thirds, and set your camera to high quality, printable images.

Utilizing Shutter Priority Mode on the DSL camera, present a collection of six images that explore motion.

Assignment Two: Double Exposure
In this assignment, you will select at least 2 of your photos that you will combine together in Photoshop to suggest a mood, meaning or idea. You will consider how the images will relate conceptually as well as visually. Consider composition(positive and negative space) and how the images will overalp. This assignment will broaden your use and understanding of Photoshop, exploring layering, blending modes and transforming your images under the EDIT menu.

Assignment Three: Favorite Person, Place and Thing
This assignment will be completed outside of school. You will focus on conveying to your viewer your love of a specific person, place and thing.
Carefully consider composition - how can you empathetically frame your subjects. Think about point of view. Consider editing ... applying a vignette or other filter to heighten the impact of your image. Be careful of detracting elements in the image - these should be perfect.
